Professional Background:

I was formerly with a small brokerage, but moved to Coldwell Banker Prime Properties in February 2008. I wanted to be with a larger company because there are many benefits. Prime Properties gives its agents a vast array of tools to help sellers get their homes sold. We have a huge web platform and a network of over 500 agents.

I have lived in Central New York all my life, and I love all this area has to offer. I became a Realtor because I enjoy viewing all kinds of homes, in many price ranges, and working with people. Sometimes, the worse the house is, the more I like it! I love brainstorming with the buyer on the potential renovations. I particularly enjoy first-time home buyers, because they are enthusiastic and need "coaching" through the home-buying process. I always work with honesty and integrity because I want to be involved in real estate for the rest of my life, and my reputation is everything to me.

Personal Interests & Background: 

I love checking out the many great local restaurants this area has to offer, as well as the local farmers' markets. If my food tours also include a winery or microbrewery, all the better! I am currently working on my golf game, but I also like to line dance every week, watch movies, and downhill ski. I also love to go boating on any kind of boat. 

My maiden name is Diana Scharf. I currently live in Whitesboro, but I have previously lived in the Cassville, Bridgewater, and West Winfield area. I also lived in New Hartford; in fact, I am a New Hartford High School graduate, and my parents still reside there. In my preteen years, I lived in West Utica and attended Holy Trinity School. I have 2 small dogs, which I love, Cookie (a pomeranian) and Chip (a maltese). My 2 sons are now grown, one recently married, the other has blessed me with a grandson.
